RR-TT Futurespective: Connected Worlds

“For its first-ever Milan Design Week installation, Range Rover turns to the past — and future. In collaboration with California-based design studio NUOVA, the brand presents Futurespective: Connected Worlds, an immersive, two-part installation staged at the 18th-century Palazzo Belgioioso.

The experience unfolds across two distinct time capsules. The first takes visitors back to 1970, the year the original Range Rover made its debut. Inside, a fully recreated retro dealership space features one of the brand’s earliest pre-production models — ‘YVB 151H’ — restored to its original olive green. Wood-panelled walls, oxblood-red furniture, archival sketches, and even a fish tank set the scene. NUOVA’s sensory staging includes ambient soundscapes, incense-style scents from their fragrance line Aeir, and custom-made objects designed to evoke a very specific moment in time.

A multi‑dimensional experience, the time spent in the first portal is an orchestrated musical performance which play through Dorothy, their chrome plated speaker in the space and is filled with Grand Rose, an incense‑like fragrance that evokes the scents of the seventies with notes of old dollar bills and leather. NUOVA has created bespoke artifacts for time travel for Range Rover, alongside custom‑designed furniture, outfits for the ‘time travel’ concierge have been designed in collaboration with LA based luxury garment atelier l’equip, inspired by 1970s workwear and British fashion.”
